Preparing for the session

I strongly recommend getting in touch before the shoot, even if it’s just a quick email. It really helps to give me an idea of the overall look and feel you would like to achieve. The more information I have, the easier it will be to steer the session in the desired direction.

Getting a good night’s sleep and making sure you’re fully hydrated will make a huge difference - you want to capture the best version of yourself after all!

Clothing

I encourage you to bring a wide range of options for clothing. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable in what you’re wearing, but I suggest steering clear of anything too loud or busy - you don’t want any distracting patterns or colours taking attention way from what’s important. The same goes for jewelry. I would recommend limiting it to small earrings or simple necklaces.

Hair & Makeup

The key here is to look authentically like yourself - the most presentable version of you. For women, I believe the make-up should be clean, and more importantly, natural. For men, I don’t really recommend makeup. Hair should be worn in whatever way portrays the real you.
